I want to create an account

Yay!!! We are so excited to have you as part of the melo community If you have an iOS device head to the App Store and if you have an Android device head to the Play Store to download the app and follow the prompts from there.

Once you have an account, you can create your village and invite people into it. Don’t worry, you only pay one subscription per village, not per user.

I’ve been invited to join a village, do I need an account?

You lucky duck! Someone obviously thinks you're brilliant! The person that has invited you is picking up the tab, and melo is free for you!

If you decide you'd like to set up an additional village, you will be charged $8 per month, per village. For now, enjoy the free ride!

First, you’ll need to download the app, and create an account. Make sure you use the same email address that you received the invite to. When those emails match, you’ll be able to accept the invitation to the village(only if you are happy to of course, and if not….awkward…)

I want to delete my data via the app

We’re sorry to see you go, but we understand. You are fully in charge of your account and data with melo. To delete your account, in the app go to Settings (tap on the little cog in the top right hand corner of the screen) → Help → Delete account. This deletes your account and all the data related to it, including data that you shared with other people in your village. The data is destroyed and therefore it cannot be reversed so take a second to be sure that’s what you want to do.

If you were invited to a village ( and were not the one who set it up and invited others), that is all you need to do - you are done and your account is deleted.Now if you were invited to someone else's village, you’re all set there’s nothing left to do.

If you are the village creator, and because of this, the one who pays for the subscription, please note we are not allowed to cancel subscriptions on your behalf so you will have to do one more tiny thing.

  • Apple users go to Settings -> AppleID -> subscriptions and tap on the melo one to cancel your subscription. Read more
  • Android users go to PlayStore -> tap on the icon for your name/account in top right corner -> Tap on payments and subscriptions -> Subscriptions and tap on melo to unsubscribe. Read more
I want to delete my account without logging into the app

We’re sorry to see you go! We’re always keen to learn what we can do better to help families with the mental load, so if you have a sec and you want to share let us know why you’re leaving here.

Fill the form below (please use the email of your account) to start the process. We will confirm with you before deleting anything but note that when we do all your data will be deleted and cannot be restored so please be super sure before you do.
